Awwww! Actually, I bought my female cockatiel from a reputable pet store, and apparently no one told her that clipped wings means she can't fly. She is the best flier of the four birds I have....and the only female, so maybe that has something to do with it.

I don't get thier wings clipped anymore my mum recons its cruel. They in an aviary now(used to be inside in a cage) because they have more room to fly. I play with them in there. my one stusy before i owned him his old ownwers used to cut is wings wrongly and it took him awhile to be able to fly again. In that photo they were at the family hoilday home with me ehheh they got hoilday too

awww! That's cool that they have their own apartment, lol. They must like it, right? my Rachel never learned that clipped wings = no flying. She'd just swoop and dive happily about, including buzzing the cats heads. My birds take perverse delight in tormenting cats.

lol! yep, my females' fav perch is my housemates' head. I made a harness for her so that I could possibly train her to be a therapy bird. not sure what I need to do to accomplish this, but it should be fun....and frustating. lol. so what have you been up to? not net here for a little while....sigh. otherwise not bad here.
