Description
Practicing with textures. Quite satisfied with this piece c:edit: for clarification, this is not actually an oil painting, but a design made in photoshop by combining resources and textures. It was ment to resemble an oil painting.

You should really credit the artists of the original drawings your taking from...
It can be very misleading if people are unaware of the actual artist, and think you have done it.
Also, a lot of artists have rules where they do not like people to take and edit their art without permission.. >.>

I believe she was unaware of who the artwork belonged to, as Taggers we are at the mercy of renderes/resource providers to make sure that they have attained permission to render the artwork in the first place.
Tenshi has already included a link to the render in the description of this deviation and the render page has credits for the original artist. Please desist from harassing her over a matter which does not directly concern you, if the artist has an issue with this deviantion, then it is up to them to file a complaint/report. Thanks.

as an artist, it bothers me to see hard work taken and edited.
There are many submissions in this gallery that have art from artists i watch that has no credit in description.
It makes no sense either to just assume that the person who rendered it got permission, as it was taken from pixiv.
Most people there do not speak English.Β
My point is, there should be credit in this submission either way...

If you want to be helpful, it would be more useful if you could link back
in your comment to the artist who you feel isn't being credited.
Since you claim that you follow the original artists, it wouldn't take you a
moment to link those pieces in the comment here so that Tenshi can add
credits in the descriptions of her tags.
I understand your stance, but attempting to police people and making demands
on how they should behave when you aren't even the artist in question, is both
unhelpful and also kind of evasive. That is something which bothers me.

You're missing the point here, like many others which is why theres so many stolen art.
Again, my point is that I'm sick of seeing all these renders and edited arts where there is no credits/permissions.
I have a right to stick up for all artists if I feel the need to.
Take care of yourself... and think of what I said before jumping into it.

As I've already explained, it is not a simple process to credit an artist when you don't know who they are.
If you truly intended to be helpful you would put in the effort to post the original art here for crediting, but
it is clear to me that you're more concerned with playing white knight and making false and unfair claims.
Like the post above my own states much better than I could, tagging has been around for a long time and
although we do try to credit where possible, it's not always straight forward when that work has been passed
through multiple people and shared around til the original is lost to us.
By refusing to link back to the original art, you're making it impossible for Tenshi to do what you are pestering
her to do, which is give due credit to the owner of the artwork. Why would you do that? Can you really see logic in stubborness? I can't.
If you're not going to be helpful, then please don't reply here again, it is clear you're just forcing a stalemate.

Edited art, Stolen art would be someone flat out uploading the whole piece and claim it's theirs, which Β she is not doing, This site has a section for Signature/Banners so I assume they already know how these signatures are made, via cut outs and whatnot.Β
If you're going to go policing every deviation for editing why not go full out and linking them to the original art so they can properly credit these people instead insulting them with false claims? Half of these cuts are renamed and the people who cut them out almost never credit them because they find images via google search and just cut them.Β
That Cut out has been floating around this place for like 3 years now, you just happen to notice someone using it now? Also do check the Signature Banners section.. you be surprised how many signature arts have something that was cut out from somewhere else. At the end of the day, she isn't making a profit from it, nor is she taking all the credit, it's Photoshop Editing, it's been around here since DA popped up, I'm not sure why it shocks you to see people doing something that has been done for awhile now. Make a complaint to DA and let's see if they are gonna care, you aren't the first nor the last.Β
