Gloria successfully leaves the cruise ship with her life and returns to the Church. The first thing she does is pray for the deceased that were on the ship with her. The reason for her 'disappearance' was covered up that she had gone on a sacred pilgrimage and underwent God's trials to become a better person. With her wish granted, she uses the riches to expand the Church and abandons the trafficking business since she has no need for it anymore. Due to her efforts of raising the status of the Church and spreading The Lord's teachings, she receives a promotion to move to the Holy Cathedral, where she earns the title of the High Priestess. Not only were her good deeds praised by all, but she also probably gained her position via bribing other higher ups, since there is always corruption beneath the Holy image of the Church. She lives a happy life with her crimes swept under the rug; even if she were to be exposed for her past misdeeds, she had already reached an untouchable position to ensure her safety and future.
