As times changed, Mius tried to follow in it's footsteps. He knew the basics about nature, how living beings resided in it together and indirectly co-depended on one another. When he came to directly co-exist with humans, however, what he once knew seemed to crumble to an ash, all that he once knew: Gone. It didn't interfere with his state of mind initially for, being the knowledge-craving creature he had always been, he wanted to understand it rather than push the new experience away. He wanted to feel as connected as he once had. Still, with all the time he dedicated to trying to learn from the humans, he never got it. Not completely. Not as well as he'd have liked.

After some time, Mius accepted such a fate. A fate which involved him only understanding the world he knew and not the world that was to come. When he began interacting with humans, he earned what they considered an identity. From the scientific name of his species, he was nicknamed Marasmius and learned to see humans as allies rather than silent enemies. Nevertheless, he retained the knowledge that was once valuable in his time so that, like an aged trinket, it would come useful once again.
