Personality: Namir is very outgoing and pleasant despite living the life of a slave. She holds very little hard feelings about her place in life, and is generally the "go with the flow" type. Though she is hardly a push over. If she feels the need to protect herself, or those she cares about, she can become a force to be reckoned with, not in strength, but in her terribly devious mind. She's the type who would poison your wine, or stab you in the heart as you fall to sleep. Because she has always been housed with other females *ie: Slaves* and Men have always been the owners, she naturally found a deeper connection and fondness for the same sex. She's had flings among her fellow slave girls, but nothing serious to date.

History: Namir was sold into slavery from a young age when her parents fell onto hard times. In her home it wasn't uncommon for such a thing to occur and rather than a sad affair, her parents believed she may find a better life this way if she were to be bought by a rich, and powerful lord. She showed a talent for belly dancing in her early teens, having always been a rather lithe and graceful girl. Through her dancing to the slaver she was sold to, who would often use her for street shows, she began to earn the gold jewelery she wore.
Though strangely enough, no amount of money offered ever seemed enough to purchase her. Namir began to suspect it was due to her slaver's fondness for the money she brought in. He would however "rent" her out for an evening. Thankfully this very rarely required anything "inappropriate" from her, and usually consisted of her dancing for special occasions. She was never categorized as a concubine, and so dancing was her primary purpose.

However she grew tired of this life of uncertainty. She began to wish for something more stable. An owner to simply buy her and end the bouncing around she was forced to endure under her slaver. She thought about killing him, and escaping, but at the same time, he had never been terribly unkind to her. She didn't have the motivation to harm him. She would however gently drug him in order to whisk away for a few hours at a time, along with one or two of her fellow slaves that he kept at any one time *those that were brave enough to come with her anyways.*

The sun was warm, and yet, it was the dry heat so common to these parts. It was early enough still to not be overbearing, but soon the market goers would be retreating to the shade of the stalls, and stores to escape the sting. Namir's eyes were wide, and full of impish curiosity as she took in the new city eagerly. The slaver would sleep for several more hours before the belladonna would wear off, and she'd be back well before then. Today though, there was a newer group of girls in his cache, and none had had the nerve to join Namir on her late morning jaunt. But it was all the same for her, let them huddle in the tent waiting for him to wake. Her life needed adventure. The rush of disobedience pumped through her chest as she trotted merrily down the sand street, her golden jewelery chiming hypnotically and glinting in the sunlight. Between that, and her stunningly impressive coloring, she often had eyes follow her on her way. Something she was more than accustomed to, and even drew confidence from.
But suddenly she paused in her high-stepping prancing as a dark figure loomed ahead of her. She actually felt herself give an intake of breath as she gazed at the most beautiful mare she had ever seen. Her build was graceful and yet powerful. Her deep ashen coat glistened proudly. She wore a black leather choker dotted in large glittering red jewels. Her long, cascading curls fell in raven-hued locks around her face, and down behind her. A crimson sash of fine silk covered much of her lower half, and a golden shrine of a horn crowned her forehead. She was every bit the "dark, mysterious" heroine of the stories Namir was so fond of. And it was clear her staring was rather obvious as the mare turned, half her face hidden by her generous curls, and smiled pleasantly to Namir directly.
Slowly Namir began to walk towards the stranger, a clearly bewildered expression on her face. "Is there something wrong miss?" the mare asked, in an elegant accent Namir wasn't familiar with, but instantly in love with. Namir tried to think of something to say, and instead came out with a simple, "No..I'm fine..." The mare giggled lightly, a sound like music and tossed her mane slightly, careful to keep the forelock in place. "Well you're staring as if you've seen a ghost, girl." she replied lightly. Namir smiled numbly. "Not a ghost...but maybe an angel.."
