I think the shoes detract from the picture.
The dress is extremely elaborate - brightly colored, many different types and textures of fabric, lots of embellishment. The shoes are extremely plain. Something strappier, possibly even tying around the leg, would complement more.
I also think the dress might have looked a little snappier with an asymmetrical hemline; however, I'm aware that you may not have been in control of the clothing.
I feel really badly about critiquing such a gorgeous photograph. My criticisms in no way imply that I dislike the photograph. I saw it among ~yen 's favorites and was blown away for a few seconds, speechless and unable to move.

thats great, nice, the background; did you set that up? or is that a location somewhere, great composition. . . the shoes seem a little out of place though... great, nice idea, how did you think of an idea such as that? the set up is rather meticulous, if you have set everything up as you wanted, the red in a white, curved, shelved hall. . . that must have been visioned. . .great pic, definately one of the greatest pic I have seen so far. . .

Though I love your talent in photography and would like to congradulate you on your undeniable talent, if I saw someone dressed like this in public, I'd probably fall on the ground laughing she looks like she's some kind of crazy witch at a tecnomedieval fashon show or simply dressing up for Tacky day accordingly... but since she actually looks kinda neat in her crazy pose, i can see her being a bad guy (or rather gal) in a videogame or something, Great shot tho, It brought a smile to my face.

When I saw the thumbnail, I initially thought this was a digitally drawn picture- it has that nifty sort of surrealish feeling about it. Very nice, I love how unique it is! And the contrast between her colorful clothes and the white setting is nice.

i agree with everyone else up there, this is a well done shot, what location was this shot in? the architecture is fabulous, it's very clinical with the white but not empty because i notice boxes of stuff on shelves.. it seems like some dream department store in heaven.

hello, thanx for the remark. i kinda keep my eyes out for cool clothes in every day life, and pick them up for shoots as i go along. this one is from a store called Anka in Utrecht Holland.
