decided to do a quick 30 minute speed drawing of my starter pokemon from pokemon y this is Shiek and yes she is female and badass
she gendered that way first time round no resets (also got a female charazard first time round as well XD)

So you got a female Froakie and Charmander on the first time to huh? I couldn't help but laugh, I've never had a female starter before and now I have 2 in the same game without even trying. I still love them though, my two girls kick so much ass.
