Description Drawing children is not my strong suit.

Chasing them off my lawn with a rake, however, most certainly IS.

a few good tips on drawing kids is to remember that their heads { depending on age of course) is usually larger, proportionally to the rest of their bodies. and their facial features , especially eyes and ears are large for their heads.

All excellent points and stuff I SHOULD know by now, but I've let the computer become such a crutch that I neglect a solid foundation in favor of diving in head first.

Thanks so much for the sound advice, hyperjack. I really appreciate you taking the time to help a brother out.

no problem.

once you have a drawn image, why don't you play around with the proportions in PS. you're digitally savvy ....this shouldn't be a problem for you.

i still check my work on PS occasionally.
