This one took quite a while to finish. A week, to be exact. I want to dedicate this to a book that brought me out of a reading slump, a book that told me a tale of an angel and a demon teaming up to stop the apocalypse. "Good Omens" by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett is filled with superb British humour, fleshed-out characters -- although not all of them are of flesh -- and a well-planned character-driven plot. It has this uniqueness that separates it from all the other books with the mainstream angel and demon tropes; it took those same tropes and run with it in an old Bentley, driving through hell and back.

Happy (belated) 30th Anniversary, Good Omens! Your supply of Queen songs and images of a cozy, unburnt bookstore will always stay with me.
