They're definitely my favorite couple--they both have fun personalities, and they compliment each other so well! I heard that Tamora Pierce has Numair's book scheduled to be published some time in the next 2 years. I can't wait!

I'm sooooo excited now...this is going to be SUCH a long wait! I can't wait to see the whole Ozorn thing either...and I'm really excited to read a story of hers from the male perspective; it's been a while since I read Briar's story and it will be the first Tortallan one ever!

Me too. Even with the age awkwardness, it's hands down the best pair in the series, but it also makes the list of cutest literary couples EVER lol. I imagine she'll include something about Varice or whatever her name is, but I do hope it isn't too terribly involved...I'd hate to have to vehemently dislike a non-villain

The age awkwardness almost helps it a bit, don't you think? AND FOR SURE THEY MAKE THE LIST! They're so awesome, and so cute... I wish they could animate some of this stuff, you know?

Hahaha don't feel kindly toward varice huh? lol, i know exactly how you feel though. I ABSOLUTELY wish they'd animate it, or make a good movie (not a horrible eragon-esque tragedy) of Tortall. There's not enough Tammy Pierce fanart anywhere. I don't want Numair to suffer either; I think of anybody in Tortall, he'd be most likely to be my friend XD but it would be quite fun to watch him muddle through. Or get shown up by some little 5 year-old gypsy kid or something lol

I do too! If they did make it a movie, I would have to be on the staff- seriously, because if they did that to what they did to Eragon, I would cry. Or Avatar the Last Airbender.
