I have a rain barrel, and the cover was broken, so I added a bit of olive oil so that the mosquitoes couldn't lay their eggs, since oil floats on water. Anyway, I thought it would make an interesting shot!! Well I love odd things!!!
It could also make a nice wallpaper!!!

Thank you Vern!! I'm not a professional, I have just always enjoyed taking photos since I was about 9years old and my Grandmother gave me a Kodak Brownie camera for my birthday. She is also the one who bought me my first oil paints in a wooden box, brushes, and canvas. I know TMI!!!!

Aaah Barbs this most be one of your most beautiful shots ever, I love the way the oil is floating on the surface, it gives off the effect of a vast space constellation, this is why I call you the Oh so beautiful one, cos of art like this, this is just......superb.....thanks Barbs, you and your trained eye, and fixed eyes, just rock, big time, Patsy Cline big time....ja...ja that big
