Happy birthday, ! I absolutely love his character, Velocity. She's easily among my favorites when it comes to AU characters in the Sonic fandom. So, I decided to make a Boom design for her! I really like how it turned out, and I hope he does, too!

( It was a dark and stormy night, as a portal opened. Outside of the portal came someone who looked like Sonic...but his fur was green, and he had a crooked smile)
???: Heh...where am I now then? This looks interesting...
(This mysterious person looked around as he spotted Amy Rose's house)

( it was night time at a museum. In one of the rooms, a very valuable jewel was being displayed. It was said that the jewel had some mystical powers, but that was just rumors. Sonic the hedgehog was hiding in the museum, waiting...cause he knew a certain mobian bat would be interested in stealing the jewel...)
Sonic: Hmm...I know Rouge will try to steal this thing...I just know it..

(Someone entered, but it wasn't Rouge. It was a female panther with a long purple cloak and a strange amulet with a red jewel around her neck. While she may be a complete stranger, our hero can tell from the way she reacts to the sight of the gem that her intentions are less than pure.)
???: Ah, there it is! The jewel my grandmother used to conquer the world. Those foolish White Earthers thought they were clever giving it to the head of the Normals for safe keeping. Ha! What a joke! They just left it right here in the open, as if they were begging me to come back and take it! Thank you, Normals! You just made me hate you a little less. Ahuhuhuhu!

Director: You panther girl? What are you doing here? This is the RP about Sonic becoming a criminal, and just...what?Β

???: That gem has more power than you can possibly imagine! Now, give it to me, or I shall take it by force!

Director:...Okay, who let this lunatic on the set? ( takes the gem abd drops it on the floor, revealing it to be made of glass with NO powers) Now we have to start everything all over again!Β

???: What?! A fake!?! Oh, I should've known it wouldn't be that easy! Even the Normals wouldn't be that foolish. Very well. I suppose I'll have to go search elsewhere. Thank you for wasting my time, you worthless muggle!
(With that, she disappears in a puff of smoke. The actual actress arrives right after this kerfuffle.)
Rouge: Alright, I'm here. Sorry I'm late, Agent Joyce called in sick today and I had to take over her mission.

( the "jewel" was on display as Sonic was waiting for Rouge to arrive)

(She sneaks in, having already taken care of the guards. She then walks up to the stand where the jewel is being held.)
Rouge: There it is. The Hellfire Ruby. This thing must be worth a fortune! I absolutely have to add it to my collection! Have to be careful not to touch it, though. I hear that if a so called "Normal" were to attempt to use it, or even touch it, the power would drive them insane. *gets out a cloth and approaches the stand*

( sonic then ran in front of her )
Sonic: Not so fast Rouge!Β

Rouge: What the h***?! What are you doing here?!

Sonic: When it was announced that this jewel would be put on display here, I knew it would just be a matter of time before you would try to steal it. Thats just how you are Rouge.Β

Rouge: Can you blame me? This jewel is worth a fortune! Haven't you heard about the legends surrounding this gem?

Sonic: I have heard several. Some say it drives you mad, some say it grants you power, some even says it connects you to other people in different ways, but Im not here to find out what it does. Youβre not getting that jewel!Β

Rouge: Like h*** I'm not! I didn't bust my a** disabling the security system and getting past the guards just to be stopped by some egotistical little s***! *makes a dive for it, pushing him out of the way*

Sonic: OH No you don't!
(Sonic Speeds up, grabbing her, they stumble into the jewel display, and it falls over, bumping into and touching Sonic in the neck)
Sonic: GAH! What was...
(The jewel's power had a effect on Sonic that made him fall deeply in love with Rouge....He wanted to be with her, do anything to make her happy...even be her partner in crime)
Sonic:..Oh my...Rouge...I never noticed before but...you're right...someone as beautiful as you SHOULD have this jewel...

Rouge: Well, you changed your tone quickly. Thank you, it's about time you let me take my hard-earned jewel. *grabs it with the cloth, making sure not to touch it directly* [They were right, it really does drive people nuts. Good thing I came prepared. Hmm, I could use this to my advantage, though. The Chaos Emeralds would make a lovely addition to my collection.] You know, I still don't quite believe you yet. After all, you could just be trying to flatter me for all I know. But, if you can prove your love by getting the Chaos Emeralds and bringing them to me, then not only will I let you be my partner in crime, I'll give you an even... greater reward. So, what do you say?

Rouge: Sunset Hill, at these coordinates. *hands him a map, a heart marking the exact location he needs* Oh, look at you. You look like a lost puppy. Don't worry, the sooner you're done, the sooner you get to see me. Here, why don't I give you a little taste of what's to come as a souvenir. *kisses him on the cheek, leaving a pink lipstick mark* See you soon. I'll be waiting. *flies off, presumably to that location*

Rouge: Ah! Why, thank you, darling~! They truly are just as divine as I imagined. You've truly outdone yourself, my dear. As promised, you deserve a handsome reward for your efforts. Come here, my darling little hedgie. *pulls him in and passionately kisses him on the lips*

( Sonic embraces her as he holds her close. As they stop kissing, Sonic looks more confident at her as he smiles)
Sonic: You know...I have a suggestion...

( meanwhile..at the crime coupleβs hideout. Sonic was now wearing a black leather jacket and sunglasses as he looked at a jewel he had stolen)
Sonic: Well babe? What do you think about our last haul?Β

Rouge: It's simply divine, darling. Who knew that stealing the crown jewels would be so easy. *takes Elias's crown out of the bag and puts it on her head* Look at me, I'm the Queen now!

(While the kids were talking, the TVs in the window of a nearby electronics store switched to a breaking news report.)
Reporter: We interrupt this program to bring you some breaking news! The crown jewels have been stolen! Witnesses say that they could make out the figure of a bat sneaking into the Castle Acorn in the middle of the night, as well as an indistinguishable blur following behind them. Rumor has it that world renowned hero Sonic the Hedgehog might have something to do with the heist, but royal officials have stated that there is no reason to believe these rumors on account of his track record directly contradicting such an act. We will issue an update once more details come to light. We now return you to your regularly scheduled programming.

Blaze: No, my loyal guard. As guardian of the Sol Emeralds, it is my duty to protect the Emeralds at all times. I never take any true breaks, unlike some people.
