Description this is a contest entry for =azurylipfe 's contest "Japanese Ghoststories - The Jurei"

i chose to do FunayΕ«rei - The ghosts of those who perished at sea.

this woman and her husband were on their way to their honeymoon when the ship was sunk by a storm

this is absolutely gorgeous. there's a lot of depth in this image. its dark, but there is also a sense of peace and serenity. japanese anything is great..ghoststories/folklore is even better.

I don't find this spooky, instead I find this sad.. She's like waiting forever for her husband to come back to her, even though she's dead.. I like the leaves at the top left border of the window, and the moon, beautiful!!
