Description It's a punch in the face Charlie Brown!

...

Guess all he wants for Christmas are his 2 front teeth... back!

...

"When you said 'hava nagila' I didn't know 'nagila' was Hebrew for 'punch in the face...' You're spending too much time with Mordecai!"

...

Wow, with a name like Mordecai Heller, who would have guessed he might be Jewish!"

...

Yeah so... I am about as funny as... as... ehhh... something not funny--see how unfunny I am? I can't even come up with something ironic and unfunny to use in comparison to my lack of funny. That's just how unfunny I am. HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!

In other news. This is a Holiday Card. It's for sale in the 4DE shop. So, if you wanna add a little Holiday strangeness and confusion to your loved ones lives, you totally should pick it up here:

Lackadaisy Holiday Card

(It comes in a 3 pack for additional awesome!)

This is absolutely PERFECT. I love it! If I get the funds here in the next month or so I'm SO buying a few! I know a bunch of my family will get a kick out of this.

Is he about to say 'unchanting'? Shouldn't it be 'enchanting'? Please punch me if I'm just a doofus.

This english speaker learned both versions.. In kindergarden we learned 'O Tannenbaum' as an example of German, and 'Frère Jacques' for French. ^_^;;

Mordecai's Jewish?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 2

PaperandDust In reply to Ski-Machine [2010-12-06 04:35:23 +0000 UTC]

We're getting quite a few hints that he's jewish, anyway...Not only is Mordecai Heller a very Jewish name, but in this particular comic he uses a Hebrew greeting - "Chag sameach" which pretty much translates into "happy holidays". He also always wears a very business-like attire, something commonly associated with Jews in that era as they were usually very distinguished people.
That, and Tracy says he's a Jew, hehe *that pretty much beats any hints, doesn't it?*

it dosn't matter to me one way or the other Its just one of those 'huh, interesting' trivial bits of information I can stash away that'll only ever be useful on double or nothing jeopardy

hehe, Fair enough XD
It would be so awesome if Mordecai was on a quiz show though O_o

Rob one of those Salvation Army Santas... remember, it's not evil if you spend the money on Lackadaisy.

Then again.... those Santas are sometimes Ninjas cleverly disguised as Santas who take the jobs just for fun to wait for someone to try to rob them in order to give them an excuse to beat them to a pulp...

I guess I can't ask you, in good faith, to risk a Ninja Santa Beating just for some Lackadaisy cards... no matter how awesome they are. ^_^)=
