Aaah my brother and sister went to university in Exeter

Very good location drawing-you've done the street perspective really well with a good amount of detail

I can't, I just sat down one day and I could draw like this.
I don't find life drawing stimulating, and I didn't used to find this way of working facisinating, but now it really is interesting.

yes backgrounds such as buildings are a challenge for me. if you have seen the AKIRA comic book it has some of the most incredible & meticulous backgrounds i have witnessed. actually all works by katsuhiro otomo have just insanely detailed and beautiful backgrounds.

Yeh, they are mental!
I've got some of his work in weekly comics, but the acutal graphic novels are so expensive! I'll have to get them though.
It's worrying how good he is with ink.

I must admit, when I got stuck, I took a photo and used it as refrence.
It rained loads that week.
