i still love to point out aku has no grasp or concept of love, since his nemesis has love in his heart and doesn't desire it from anyone, but aku doesn't and wants it but doesn't know what the fuck to do with it.

I don't think aku understands the concept of love. I don't think he fully comprehends how much blossom would care for the child, and I don't know if aku himself would ever come to care for the child. I think this is something this character as a whole suffers from, he needs to be shown what love is. And not just the romantic kind, but all kinds. sibling love, love among friends, love among parents, he needs to be shown these. In the new season of samurai jack that will be airing on adult swim, the creators said that the show will be darker and more moody, or emotional. I doubt this will happen, but I hope aku learns some things. I highly doubt he will get redeemed, but I at least want him to learn love from somebody. It would be a sweet message.

Aku is an abused child basically he has power now and is taking it out on everyone when really he's sad and ahem over compensating for lacking certain things tee hee. So much so he can't ever love or be loved and thrives and is excited by resistance and confrontation. Total broken mirror in my book
