Thank you! You are a sweetheart! I went and got the tut, and I have made several images I'm happy with. I'll post a couple when I get a chance.

Is that a flipped disc variation?

Sure is... but I'm not that good at them yet...

I just started working with =JoelFaber 's flipped disc tutorial yesterday. It's interesting but I've gotten nothing presentable yet.
Got to keep practicing.

Try this...
In the Editor window, select New blank flame
on Transform 1 Variations tab, make Linear 0, and Disc 1
still on Transform 1, select the Transform tab and set the weight to 3
on Transform 2 Variations tab, make Linear 0 and Julian 1
still on Transform 2, select the Variables tab and set Julian Power to 4 and Julian Dist to -1
still on Transform 2, select the Transform tab and set the weight to 3
Now shrink both transforms (use the Triangle tab)... cool, huh?
Gets even more fun when you add a Final Xform with a Spherical variation and move it around - or enlarge/rotate it even...
Try a Polar Final Xform too... very cool!
