The How isn't %100, it's believed an infection while he was in the hospital. Cheska would know better then I. When was exactly one year prior to the date of my picture. I did it exactly one year after he died. All I truly know is he went into the hospital for a routine procedure concerning his diabetes, and something happened that he didn't come back out.

I didnt know him, but he was obiviously loved by many, and that is the mark of a truely great man

I'm glad this is up. He was lucky to have so many friends and family that loved him. Through his works and through his words, a Happy and Positive person. A Talented Artist.
When I heard last year what happened, it hit me hard. I never met him, but he was someone that impacted my life a little. Someone who inspired me to try to get my hand back at drawing again.
He was a person that I respected, and even now a little tearful to think his gone.

I told Cheska that I'd love to colourize this... and she's reminded me that, very likely, this is as finished as it'll get.

Oddly this is one picture I would rather not see colorized. It's just me probably, but I don't think the colors would work. Maybe I'm just being selfish and would like to think it stands as purely my work in this instance. I appreciate the offer however.
As for finished, the picture IS finished. The "unfinished" look of some of the characters in the background was purely intentional. A reference to the name of someone who left this mortal coil before anyone was truly prepared for it.

I personally didnt know him, but when a artist passess away it hurts us all, it brought together alot of people i've once knew and admired i'm sorry for your loss Cheska perhaps this will comfert you a poem I wrote some time ago hopefully he had something like this on his mind as he went on:
'If I could sleep it would be next to you, if I died tonight it would in your arms, when I draw my last breath it would be your name'
