Description Tanktober / Inktober 2019 Day 19 prompt

A Sikorsky CH-53E Super Stallion sling loading an M551 Sheridan light tank

This was inspired by the RTS game "World in Conflict" and its rather unique way of bringing in units to the battlefield, which is done by airlifting them in rather than building them from a base. And light tanks like the M551 Sheridan, PT-76, and FV101 Scorpion are brought in by heavy lift helicopters like the CH-53E, Mi-26, and CH-47 respectively.

when you consider how much energy it takes just for a helicopter to lift itself up, let alone carry something like a frickin' tank!

Artillery freak here, I love all the delivery methods used to make it rain on my enemies especially in WiC

I also loved the radio chatter that just fills the air, really gives the sense that a battle is super dynamic and gets quite intense in the heat of it

I loved using artillery and nukes in World in Conflict. It was also cool zooming in the detail units and see them fight.
