I was only meaning to do a chest-up picture, but then I thought what the hell so I threw on the body, which I consider extremely poor. Those paws need help. But anywas... yeah. Dip as a saluki, this time with her hair, which is quite sparkly. Those little spots on her shoulders are freckles, I might add them into her design, might not.The sole purpose of this image is for my id, which I plan to make sometime soon ... I think that's it.

I ahve thought about it, btu I don't knwo if I'd want everyone to have the same type of shading. I know it looks hard, but it really isn't, I taught myself 
But, if you are trying to try your own gradient-shading, I'd be happy to help you along the way!

I'd honestly love some help.... I actually had a few questions. Like how many layers and what kinds do you use for your shading?

I use two layers for shadin. The first thing I do is cell shade. This is just really wherever you want to put the darker colors, I pretty much just guess =3 This creates the 'harder crisper' look to the shading.
Then on the same layer I use the gradient tool to accent my shading. Just select different areas in which to shade, this can be in any direction you want.
On the next layer (on top of) I add shadows and highlight to make the image more interesting.

it's super simple, you just use the gradient tool, and set all your bg details to, like, 50%. You have to have photoshop though
