Wait, what? The idea here is that L tells Light his real name to see his reaction, right? Well, first of all - how does Light know that's actually his real name? Second, Light never ever breaks character. There's no situation that could force him to lose cool. Hell, even when he was caught, he still tried to bullshit his way out until he was absolutely certain there was no way of hiding it anymore. By the way, I know this is just for fun and it's not serious but neither is this comment lol

There's something I don't understand... In "Death Note: How to Read" we learn that L's ~real~ name is "L Lawliet". How the **** is that possible?! How can his FIRST NAME be "L"?!! Couldn't they come up with something more..... real??

There were a LOT of plotholes in Death Note, when you look back at it. XD This would be a great example of one.
Also, the handwriting could've been analyzed. Maybe.

hahah well that could have worked I mean if L had Light hold onto the death note and everyone knew that Light was holding on to the death note for L and that L told light his real name then if L died Light would be the top suspect. Instead of Catching him six freaking years later -_-;
