There's actually a university using this theme (polar bears on floating ice) as a wayto encourage campus dwellers to use less electricty. The more they use, the worse life is for the animated bear (on a kiosk, in the dorm) and the less they use, the happier the bear is. Reports are that it has been highly effective.

This is amazingly cute, and so well done in minimalist style (which I completely adore)...
I know YOU didn't say it, others did, but if he's meant to be worried about his little flotation of ice... wouldn't he be wishing for a white Christmas, not a green?
Anyways, I didn't even think about that until I read comments, so it's a moot point I suppose. I love that he's on this pitiful little ice spot, he looks so forlorn... but so cuddly. It makes me want to place him on a big expanse of ice.
