Alright, these are the characters of my boyfriend, , and his Trials of Life series. And yep, it's not a commission.

Now I can officially declare that I no longer take any comms. All because I've become this guy's creative partner, so from now on most of what I'll be drawing is gonna be illustrations and character portraits for his work. And this is the first piece of our collaboration as partners, so I'm pretty excited.

I decided to draw these three together for the scale, because I thought it would be nice to see their height difference clearly.

Also an interesting part of working on it is designing the characters. Captain Henson has some of his characters already designed, but for some of them he has just a couple of appearance features, so I have to thoroughly work out all the details about what they look like.
