I was giving her some instruction about where to stand... where to look... and decided to have one of my friend and me... I have so many wonderful photos with some people who are dear to me... but I never post them... keep them in my safety deposit box. Once in while I forget to get one of me and a model I work with... then I am trying to go back to get the missing link...I am posting this one because... no one can see her or me... or it could be just 2 cardboards cut as silhouettes.. or two random strangers. But I know only me know... it is not...

Stunning photo Daniel. Silhouette shots are some of my favorite. The fog in this photo give this scene a feel of casual intimacy, of two friends spending time together.

It was fun to shoot with my friend Maryline. She never lets any one take photos of her... but when I drag her out of her house...because I see fog rolling down the hills and need a last minute model... she comes and plays along with my demands. I really love how this one turned. Thanks again for your sweet comment.

Thank you so much for saying this. I did not think much of it.. I love the fog... I love the fact that on night... just upon a call I could get someone to model for me. She was so sweet to do so... and even if she told me not liking been taken in photo... she let me do it with a word.

I love fog too. Here, sometimes in the autumns, if you go an early morning to a small bridge by the water, you can't see anything outside the bridge, just fog.. and the fuzzy shapes of boats, and so, in the distance..

I am such a sucker for silhouette shots. I love them. Something about the anonymous nature and the perfection and peace of being in the shadows. Your lighting behind is spectacular and you and your friend appear so peaceful.
I see it as a little awesome that the only part of you two not in silhouette is your shoes... since you love shoes so much!
