Just one more from my sketch dump to go, after this

This one is another I've told a few people about XD. Bennie is a year old and he belongs to a friend of mine in rl. He's a cob crossed with a tiny 12hh grey pony (called Pam, and she's a pain in the @$$, apparently). He's a bay based grey and already gone through a rainbow of colour changes. His wall eye is also coming out really nicely

Anyway, Bennie is adorable, but also keen to get into as much mischief as he possibly can. For a more detailed rundown on his personality you can go here:

In this particular incident, I went out to the field to give him and his older, more responsible (pfft) fieldmates their afternoon hay. The others fought over their piles when they were on the ground, but Bennie saw us from halfway down the field, neighed his little heart out and then cantered straight for us, afraid he was missing out XD.

Well, he didn't even look at the hay I'd set out for him - he saw the wheelbarrow, his eyes bugged out and you could see his mind just blue screen with "Food!" and...

He tried to climb into the wheelbarrow.

He didn't get quite this far - the barrow is too small and rusty, and spindly as he still is, he was too big, but he definitely tried Either way, the mental image was epic and I've felt like doodling it for a while now.

So this one is half for me, and half for who first asked for pics of the horses, and who I first talked to about the wheelbarrow incident...

I think that's all XD

Literally ten minutes to colour and the sketch took around 10-15 mintes.
