hahahahhah what is this?
Well i was wondering around da, mad with myself because of my inability to draw lately and i stumbled upon !
... and i got even more frustrated. Why are we all waiting for someone to bring it to life? The admins may not even come back, they have moved on and are focusing in something else, and thats ok, because, we dont need any event to be host to move our lazy asses, lets do it ourselves. I actually never really got to draw my poor Aitira because my rp partner kind of left, then the group went dead and i was lazy, so sad.
And ive been waiting stupidly with hope but doing nothing.
soooo, lets bring it back ourselves!
So yeah, this is my rant art. it actually was so random, but i learned quite a bit from it and i like it! (messy and sketchy as it is) yay and my artblock is gone!
Well this picture hasnt got any story, and its not much fun without a rp behind :/
Guys im open for rp if anyone is interested, it would be awesome if we could come up with out own "event" thing. (be aware, english is not my language and ive only rp-ed like once in my life, but im still up for it! XD)
I know its hard to find time for full drawn pieces but we can do sketches and speedpaints of our stories anyway, even though they wont get submitted to the group (im not even sure if this picture will get accepted)

"The admins may not even come back, they have moved on and are focusing in something else..." actually, every time there's a new image in the queue, or a new artist wanting to join, I approve it personally 
But that being said, it seems a number of folks would like to see the group revived, so we're working on it!! I really appreciate your passion for the group, and I appreciate your call to push forward. You're right - so we're gonna try our best to make it happen.

Yay, I love to see some Windsonde art! I wish I could help keep the group more active, but I have very little time to draw now. Someday I will finish my characters' challenges! Maybe in the meantime, we can see about designating a few regular RP nights/times where people can show up casually and maybe other people will be there.

ohh, im not sure and i hadnt really stopped to think about it. On one hand its good because more ref sheets and innactive characters is not what we need. On the other hand, old members may have grown out of this group (have other art tastes, are focused on other projects,..) so new members could help to keep it alive..

I think an art exchange would be super fun! It'd be cool to do something like where we did the dance festival... or whatever that was called. It could be a prompt and you've got to include two other gryphs or something. But I could see a contest being very fun too. And there could be something for an incentive which gets people going again.

I really liked the idea of doing a secret santa exchange 
It would require that everyone who enters really commits to drawing their part, though. Nothing sucks quite like pouring effort into an art trade only to never get your half, ya know? :s
Either that, or some Windsonde art trades where everyone just draws each others' characters. Nothing too big, but something fun like that could maybe shake the group back to life.

My other idea was to make a kind of competition between Aeries to see whos got the best festival (i mean celebrating doesnt intervene withe the story line so i think it would be something members could do) Another way to explore the differences between Aeries (Skrekrill could be a hunting kind of ceremony, Twistoult dancing in front of a fire, and Grandesque a big feast) And we could make a point system thing like: drawing your character celebrating +2 points for your Aery, for every gryphon you draw of someone else +3 points.
For the price i could offer a full painting of the most participating gryphon of the winning Aery
hmmm.. what do you think? the secret santa sounds simpler though
