I would look so goofy, though! My extensions tangle when I wear them for an extended period of time; I have to get new ones almost every time that I wear Moon! And don't worry: I burn myself straightening my hair too.

Well they're on and off for the whole show, but I was mainly referring to the fact that they were going against their past lives. (Which were certainly ill fated, considering what happened to them!)
Although they do end up together in the very end.
