I know this is similar to my Huntress stock, but the quality of that was rubbish, and apparently i missed out afew poses, according to my critics. 0-o hmmph.
so here's a slightly different reshoot.

You have some of the best barbaric/tribal stock on dA! Seriously!

What kind of body paint do you use? It looks pretty authentic to what natives actually used.Β

I'm curious because my nephew has finally agreed to be my guinea pig, er... model! He's already done a murderous child stock shoot with great feedback and 5 stock uses in 3 days, so he's now wanting to do more.Β

We have a Native American shoot & a woodland creature type character shoot planned but the characters would look beter though with some tribal war paint. I'm looking for stuff I know looks good because I've seen the end results on so many at dA.Β

in Wyld, i used snazaroo black body paint. which is cheap and cheerful and washes off no problem (also the same as i used in my demon shoot)
in Attuann, the white body paint, i used simple acrylic cause i wanted it to look thick and cracked.

Awesome, thank you! Thanks for letting me know you used it for the demon stock too as my little demonic nephew is wanting to possibly be a demon for Halloween and then I can blackmail him into posing for stock!

haha naah, not my house. its ~Blakava-stock 's stuff. his room is like a damned armoury.
hopefully we're getting a shoot done on tuesday... but it depends whether i'll have to work.. they're changing all my hours, cause i'm getting trained up on a different department... yay... -__-

Oh the excitment lol
its nice that you have someone else to do stock with, to my knowledge im the only one in my direct area... i cant find anyone else willing to do it
so thats why all my shoots are tripod and self timer

well it took him a while to get used to my camera. -__- but we be learning now >.<
kinda annoying that. i remember what that was like. the only stock i take just by myself now is my portrait stuff.

at the risk of sounding like an internet creep, i'd be willing to help you out. if i could get there. trouble is right now, i can drive, just not legally. damn, i really should book my test today or something 0-o

RaeyenIrael-Stock In reply to Tasastock [2009-08-03 16:11:57 +0000 UTC]

That'd be awesome to get together and do stock stuff. i can return the favour seeing as i know my way round a camera at least.
Hmmm yes, im only just about to start learning the lessons are just so expensive :/

Tasastock In reply to RaeyenIrael-Stock [2009-08-04 07:56:45 +0000 UTC]

awesome ^^
the only trouble i have now though, is that they've changed all my shifts at work, so i don't know what's what. -__- they've even drafted me into going to maghull this week.. 0-0
but im definately off work next monday until thursday. after that, haven't the foggiest.. i didnt even know until last night that i was in today.

i managed to find a guy who was doing lessons for Β£15 an hour.. now he's had to put it up to Β£17 an hour due to petrol and insurance costs. but its not that bad. i just despise booking things. so i tend to put things off. liiike booking my driving test -__-

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

RaeyenIrael-Stock In reply to Tasastock [2009-08-05 13:33:02 +0000 UTC]

Β£17 an hour is very cheap for driving lessons. The lowest i can find is about Β£22. Hmmm its never good not knowing whats going on with work :/ who do you work for?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Tasastock In reply to RaeyenIrael-Stock [2009-08-10 16:11:27 +0000 UTC]

yeah theres a load around for that kinda price. its kinda annoying when you're looking.
bloody morrisons started part time, but i kinda got stuck there, since i dont know where im going in life, im just making money in the meantime.
i dont really reccommend working in a supermarket though. the customers treat you like crap... mind you, the workers are all mental.

Hmmm yes one of my best mates is a check out girl in tescos lol i think id go mad at the sound of beeping.
And haha, i had my first driving lesson on thursday... we finally found somewhere that does lessons for 19 quid an hour if you book 10 in advance so i booked it. I didnt do too badly actually, i was actually pretty surprised seeing as ive never driven in my life... but ive got 9 more lessons to come so there's still time to crash haha

Tasastock In reply to RaeyenIrael-Stock [2009-08-11 10:09:56 +0000 UTC]

eh you tune it out. the store has recently got those self service checkouts.. everyone keeps asking me if the constant repeating of "Please put the item in the bag" "Please scan the barcode, or select Fresh Produce" drives me mental. it doesnt. i can have selective hearing, i just choose not to hear it. its the customers that drive me potty.

haha you'll be fine. its just getting the hang of the clutch and stuff like that, and the rest comes easily. i do not like left reverse though. its not that its hard. its that its just annoying.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

RaeyenIrael-Stock In reply to Tasastock [2009-08-11 12:21:11 +0000 UTC]

hmmm Probably doesnt help though that im one of those annoying people who goes into the supermarket and turns up the volume to full on all the self service things i can get my hands on. I have very little to do with my life lol. Although it is funny watching some people jump when its suddenly really loud, and everyone else turn to look at them disapprovingly. Small things amuse small minds i suppose haha

And yes, well i can only turn left as of yet, havent even tried turning right lol. SO as long as my destination is only ever left.... then i'll be fine

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Tasastock In reply to RaeyenIrael-Stock [2009-08-18 14:25:59 +0000 UTC]

haha, ours dont go that loud. which is fun for the old folks. has it scanned? what do i do? i cant see
oh for heavens sake -__-

lol! right turns are easy as pie. its all easy once you're used to it. its just, getting it all right on the day really..
