A good start, the filigree style ornamentation is a nice touch. If you're, as I assume you are,  trying to make it look like a weapon rather than a farming tool I would suggest that you try to make the handle somewhat less unwieldy, though. A slimmer and longer handle, change the shape around a little bit, I'd wager would amke quite the difference.
Take a peek at how farming scythes look and how they're used, maybe? I tend to find that it's much easier to figure out how something should look once you know, or have an idea, of how it should move when in use.
