Pokedex entry: An early attempt to create super soldiers that was quickly discarded. Unable to survive on its on, it latches onto passing organisms and takes over their bodies, enhancing their powers in the process.
Trivia: Name derives from the Japanese words Zeri and Jiko, which mean jelly and accident respectively. It is based on a slime mold, organisms that resemble gelatinous slime. Some are also capable of taking control over a larger organism's nervous system in order to move faster to a destination where the slime mold can spread its spores. The primary source of inspiration for Zeriji was the Slither Sucker from The Future is Wild. It is also inspired by brain washing aliens and discarded scientific experiments. Zeriji is the last Hageto Fakemon in alphabetical order and in the Hageto Dex.

Effect: Causes the user to faint but whichever Pokemon the player sends out in its place will now bear a Zeriji sprite on it. The host's highest stat is now increased by 1 every time it enters the battlefield. When the battle ends, Zeriji is no longer attached to the host but remains fainted. Latch-On will fail if there are no other Pokémon capable of fighting in the player's party. Latch-on does not pass stat modifications or statuses onto the new host. Zeriji will not be removed if the host is hit with the move Knock Off.
Description: The user faints and latches itself to a host to sustain itself. The host's highest stat is increased for the remainder of the battle.

Effect: Causes the target's attacks do deal 30% more Pokemon at the cost of of 10% of its maximum HP after it uses a damaging move (round down, but no less than 1). This effect remains as long as the user of the move remains in battle. Can be used on allied Pokemon in a double or triple battle. The move will fail if the target is behind a substitute.
Description: the user extends its membrane to boost its allies damage output at the cost of some HP per hit.
