It's Haru!!! ...or Harus... Meh. 'Nuff said!
One of my favourite characters from Fruits Basket. I was especially drawn to his split personalities (For those of you who aren't familiar with Furuba, Hatsuharu has two personalities - the calm, usually spaced-out one Yuki and the others call "White Haru"; and the darker, violent one, "Black Haru"). It was fun drawing both of them, side by side. I'd imagine this is what's going on in Haru's head, with the light against dark and all. I used darker tones for Black Haru, and gave him a sort of playful, evil smirk (well, I *tried* to, anyway), probably intimidating White Haru or something. White Haru I made more glowy and...white. I suppose I wanted it to be really obvious which was which. The background was a spur of the moment thing. Originally, I was going to put a ying-yang symbol behind them, but it seemed a bit cheesy and predictable. Wha...I love drawing Fruits Basket! Must do more...!
