I've been working on this for a few weeks off and on, but was too scared to post it after I finished. It is a departure from my usual animal portrait type of painting. I wanted to try something new. I still managed to add the familiar to me though.Please be gentle with me, I'm learning.
For the woman I was inspired to try something new by the wonderful mjranum-stock. [link]

I was just learning how to digitally paint people. I'll have to redo this one someday.

Your gallery is totally amazing .
I first thought that you worked with Poser or some other 3D program and then did heavy postwork in Photoshop.
I even thought I recognised a few of the figures used in Poser.
Do you use 3D programs or figures (or as reference) ?

No I don't know how to use Poser but would love to learn someday. I use model reference for the people and sometimes for the animals. Thank you for the complement.

The beauty of the painting is overwhelming. There are not enough words to describe its beauty. I am near to tears. This painting touches my heart. It has a glorious and spiritual feel and meaning to me. There is such a power of purity coming from it that it makes my heart sing. Such beautiful work should be in an art gallery for all to enjoy and praise.
