Darkai made a tactical mistake. All he needed to do is to tell the trainer that he will remove the curse if they stepped aside, after all, Leafon served her purpose in his plan and he have no more use for that curse.
Usually 1 vs 1 in legendary vs legendary is a draw, so if a trainer with many pokemons join one side, the power balance is broken in favor of one side. Darkai just dig his own grave. (either he waste all his power fighting pokemon after pokemon and get beaten up by the one he was looking for, or he will be beaten in 6 vs 1 fight).

So is Kyorge against Groudon, but it didn't stop them for having a fair fight.
Articuno vs Zaptos vs Moltress in 3 vs 3 was also an even fight, despite Zaptos being super effective against both of his opponent, while Moltress is only super effective against Articuno, and Articuno only against Zaptos.
For some reasons, legendaries and ubers seems to have a lot of a fair rivality, no matter their types disadvantage. You can get grass and fire legendary and they'll still have an equal fight in the anime, which is odd.

And s*** starts to get real... This was a nice, dramatic way to end a chapter. The chapter as a whole was fun to read, showcasing legendary PokΓ©mon in a (dare I say it) dark fashion. I'm already looking forward to seeing how the heroes work together with Cresselia, assuming they don't try to take on Darkrai by themselves.

Oh Tammy, you never seize to amaze me with how you make these comics. I can remember when we first started working on RDiVC and OUD like it was yesterday and now it's just crazy that you'll be starting the seventh chapter in a few days. Time seems to pass so quickly. At least for me it is. Technically there's only two more chapters of RD which it even more big as a thought. Anyways, always keep forging that iron and never, ever stop.
