When I look at Tetrox's weavile, she reminds me of a certain zorua, who's also just as mischievous, too.
I bet zorua/zoroark would be another pokemon Tetrox would have on her team, if she got more than one pokemon.
But Tetrox and Arnick's choice in pokemon totally complement each other and reflect their squid-kid's personalities well. ^^

Haha! Zorua was one choice I was indeed considering. And liepard. Since I wanted to give her a cat to contrast Arnick's dog. And went with weavile in the end. (since it is kinda felinish)

Oooh! Haha, your zorua brainstorming is showing. =w= Liepard could have worked, too! Liepard happens to be purple-colored which would fit with the team's color theme and there would have been that cat vs. dog parallel. But the blue, ice-typed Weavile and the orange, fire-typed Arcanine, visually shows color complementing natures~
