The end of the field with that dark forest creates a typical bad effect "residual mask" for 2 reason:

1) dark tone on light tone emphasizes the cutted edge.....
2) Its impossible cut off at 100% that dark forest for obvious reason..so the cut off will be bad and so it will be well visible...destroying the global vision (this problem is the most common problem)

For this reason in this case u must erase completely that! Of course U know DA is full of tree/rock stock and so u can fix it really easy. i don't know, u can create some dead forest...alegion-stock.deviantart.com/a…

Apart this all rest is ok

This is practic so i don't add other

Hi Luke.
Thanks for the feedback. I am not sure which part you mean. Do you mean the forest at the end of the field that is against the wall? And I would love to hear your other feedback so I can learn and grow, if you have the time of course. Thanks again.

u know my engl is fantastic!

in any case the answer is yes.

im sharing as always my tought and experience but all this is important for me too for various reasons.

The subject is the great wall but this is idea for me isn't complete because the final work is too static! This happens because that portal is flat. The foreground is ok but in general the background is flat, there isn't visual interest! No good when this happens.

When u work with visual details u are excellent -----> tamarar.deviantart.com/art/Coz…   The same concept live in photomanipulations! These works can be statics and dynamics....
static works in general are used a lot in surreal work...u know with 1 subject + 1 background or 1 background + some effect. In this case we have a static work.....but in this case it's too static!! This happens also for another reason, because u used a global view with a main Object to the center....and in general center subjects/object are always really boring. In private i will send u something.

Dynamics works, u know, are the opposite like for example ur work previous linked.

Another thing, that portal and his look is too new....and this enhance this static problem...ur goal, for me, must to be transform it in an ancient portal-wall

I can give you some quick line guide to fix that problem.   On the portal and around it u can create and integrate some details to create more visual interest....i don't know for example using vegetation.....the examples are infinites!! fc00.deviantart.net/fs23/f/200… ---- fc00.deviantart.net/images3/i/…   ------ th09.deviantart.net/fs70/PRE/i… but u can use some interesting rock with some particular shape....or statue something like this www.lotrscenerybuilder.org/ima… etc...

i was copying and pasting something on ----> sta.sh/01d8pymuyumg and you can continue as u want.....i don't know, i think u could add also some "dead" armour....i don't know something like this ---- > sta.sh/0281h4v0bos2 but these are personal tastes and ideas...u can enhance all this using ur taste, because u got it.
