I love making waffles, they're the first thing I made and that made me realize I love making mini food. My first tutorial and video tutorial were about making waffles! Even my first DD was for my waffle tutorial. Waffles are my first for everything related to polymer clay. When people ask me about beginner projects, I always recommend making waffles Please check out my tutorials above if you want to make your own!

I don't know exactly why, but I love the look of the golden waffles better than the realistic ones, at least for jewelry. Maybe because they're so shiny and fabulous! I prefer the more realistic ones for dollhouse miniatures and such. This time I also experimented replacing my crafted cherries with translucent glass beads, they are okay but I think my cherries are a lot more realistic. They may be worth using for something that uses a ton of cherries (like a cherry pie) but I think I'll stick with my traditional cherries, even if they're so time consuming to do but the result is worth it!

The blue berries are so cute and dainty, I made the funny raised pattern but you can't tell from this angle. What's the name of that bit in the blueberries? I wonder if it even has a name

Anyway, these ended up being stud earrings and I think they'll make their new owner very happy I want to try making more waffles with different fruits, because they're so much fun to do! Commissions are currently open I gave these away, but they can be reproduced and similar items are available for commission.

Technical stuff: Handmade by me with polymer clay without the use of molds, using the technique shown in my tutorial. The cherries are glass beads. Glued on silver plated studs.
