I made these guys... about 8 years ago. It seems like such a short time T_T Anyways, they were born for a History project. We had to create a creature that could live in those Greek mythology stories. I was inspired by the gryphon to make a mish-mash of animals. Thus: wolf, stag, eagle, tiger. At first that was very apparent , but later I started doing all sorts of weird things. So now the terbaculo is a highly varied creature.Some things don't make much sense (hey, Greek influence), but I love them too much to change them drastically
Rear facing pouch is inspired by the thylacine , my favorite marsupial.

omg So awesoem to finally get a full ref on these guys. I never knew about the pouch thing...that's really different and neat! And I love their horns/antlers, they are so neato! I also like how there is a domesticated version, and how common to most domesticated things, it displays weird fur colors and patterns. Tooooooo awesome! lol

I actually just recently came up with the pouch. I mean, they're solitary creatures so who would take care of the pup? The mother's who! But how does the mother carry it? In a pouch!
