ZOMG! Why are there so few fans of one of the greatest anime of all time? I don't understand it. Sure the the guns are more detailed than the people and then get fairly liberal with the laws of physics - but it's funny!Before I forget, Jigen is from Lupin the Third.
Anywho, the reference pic is from an episode screen cap. I did something a little different with the backgound but the scanner ate the color. Alas, such is life.
Colored with copics and color pencils. Inked with copic multiliers.

Well haven't seen Lupin the Third but I think the movie, The Castle of Cagliostro, is such a sweet story. Your drawing is absolutely stunning

Jigen's back!!!! And in full colour too. How would I forget this memorable character? Always dressed in his dark grey hitman suit and his trusty 357 magnum handgun in which he shoots his targets with deadly accuracy. I never see his eyes except in situations when he is suprised or dumbfolded. He's the king of cool judging by the image he exerts on the audience.
I love the perspective on the gun. It make him look like he's serious. As for the background, who cares. It looks fine to me.
A magnificent piece of work you have done. Is the samurai guy (I forgot his name) going to be your next project?

Ooh I have not seen too much of Lupin before but it looks so good. I love the background actually because it gives it something more and it does not take away any attention at all from Jigen. Overall I love this piece and the gun too lol.
