Photos. Srsly. Photos are your friends. The best way to learn to draw real hands is to look at real hands. I take photos of my own all the time (although I have bad hands for referencing - being short and stubby rather than long fingered and lovely *sigh*)
Oh and don't let them psych you out. Break them down into their shapes and practice a lot.
