I made this manip from this [link] photo taken by me with the Nikon 5600 CoolPix using flash of course.Otherwise no chance capturing the drop like this.
I used PS cs3.
The idea behind this, is a creature of an alien race preparing for an intergalactic journey.
Edit: retouched couple of details, background color changed.

I really love this, the colour scheme especially. All those blues really nicely complimented by the yellow. It's really impressive that you managed to make this from that picture, I'm sure plenty of people would be interested to know how you did it.

I think it pulls off the alien concept well. I like the color scheme and the metallic sort of look! The water looks really cool.
