- Eraser: Scriva B 30 Natural Rubber;
- Paper size: 16 x 11 cm (6.3 x 4.3 in);
- Work time: 6 hours.

Based on a photo by Lachlan Bailey with styling by Beth Fenton for The Wall Street Journal:
 

I did the clothing a little bit darker on purpose, just to accentuate the face more. Deal with it.

I love how you worked with the girls hair and the texture of her clothing. As well every little shading detail you put into there made it come out much more lifelike than the photograph it was drawn from. Great work!

Thanks for your kind comment! This piece was the most time consuming portrait in the series because I wanted to get all those tiny details right how I felt/saw them.
And it makes me really happy when the final drawing get viewers to say it's nicer than the photo source.
