Kay no seriously. Happy Ikarishipping Day!
It's June 28th~ yay! This is um, part one out of two that involves Ikarishipping? I'm going to post a one-shot - which has no relation to this picture - and yeah.

Background took me almost half a day. It was bothersome doing the single blades of grass. I'm actually really proud of how I did the lake. People were right, if the marker is slightly dried out, you get really neat effects.

The reason Dawn and Paul look a little dark is because the sun is somewhere behind them...I suck at shading... 8D

I used markers to colour the picture and I touched it up with pencil crayons - not a lot for the background, but some (e.g. random bits on the grass, the pond and the stones on the path). I mostly did the touch up for Dawn and Paul, outlined in pencil crayons and fixed some other stuff. I also used white acrylic paint to highlight them.
