Nice work, I gotta say I like this deviation from your norm. The chin looks weird because it doesn't line up with the center of the face. I'm not sure if you know this about drawing faces, but when you do so, draw a guideline down the middle to indicate where the nose mouth and chin will be located since they're all on the same vertical plane. If it's a 3/4 view you're doing, make it a curved line...does that make sense? Other than that, I really like the style and yes you are improving your shading with black! I love the eyes here, too
