I too wished there was an AU of the DMC-verse where the brothers can work together for a cause for good. Why? I always choose Dante and Vergil as two-thirds of my three-man team in Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 and I still love DMC3/SE Mission 19 where Dante and Vergil team up against Arkham and I get to call Vergil back to Dante's side during gameplay, more so in the cutscene after when they muttered "Jackpot!" together to blast Arkham out of the demon realm using Dante's twin handguns!
But history repeats itself as their differences separated them, caused them to be in the first step of their brotherly conflict against one another...
Again, great job. This is a comment coming from a longtime DMC fan since its beginning...

Yeah. DMC 3 is good game. And moment when Dante & Vergil saying "Jackpot" & fight versus Arkham is this my favourite moment. Yes, they can work together when they want.

I love how history repeats it's self on this picture. Not just in game but generation wise as well.
We all knew Dante and Vergil will be at odds at one point.
But I love how ninja theory snuck in some fridge logic.
See before all this limbo stuff Sparda and Mundus were "Blood" brothers. They were close as two brothers can be. Working together they not only defeated the Seraphim's army but ruled the earth as well...until Eva came along. And turned the brothers against each other. One for Order and one for Freedom and love. Just like what we see now.

Yeah. But original characters are better. Vergil is still tolerantly. But Dante... My tongue isn't turns call him that. When I saw him the first time I nearly fell off the chair.

Yeah, I must admit the first trailer of DMC5 was ... wasn't cool
but now Dante is better, and if you would play the game, Dante do have power
and when you use it, he has a white hair XD that is epic, I have to say
the originals are awesome but even those new aren't that bad
and vergil is o.o creepy, he is like testing Dante or something
