both planes were manufactured by Dornier for the Nazis in World War II.the upper plane is a DO-17 a medium bomber that was an adapted airliner design.
the lower plane is a DO-217 nicknamed flying pencil because of its slim fuselage. the successor to the DO-17 model.
both plane saw service in the Luftwaffe as medium bombers and nightfighters in world war II
