The Sci Fi channel was an awesome place for fans of science fiction to find all kinds of movies and TV shows with a sci fi bent. They've since devolved into a generic "Monster of the Week" channel with such drivel as Ghost Hunters. They even had professional wrestling. Not that pro wrestling isn't fiction...
