Sorry, if you're getting this in your in boxes again, just wanted to post a lighter version of the pic, i say the pic at work and realised my monitor was messed up, so got tht fixed, and then fixed this piccue too. soorrry about posting again.he he, this is weird..its me birthday today and i'm submitting art....waht a miraculous twist of fate....you know...me submitting something new he he!!
Anyway...this pic was started i think, before christmas...then put on hold till feburary, then put on hold till....this week, when i FINALLY finished it....slowly, very slowly.
In case your wondering, Kenkai is a red panda, created by me and Himi-chan back in december, before christmas, and we both decided to draw him, i think himi was waiting for me to finish it, as i did the main design....although i'd would've like to have seen her version first.
Any way. i had way too much fun with this pic, i tried out a lot of new things with this picture, and used all sorts of different techniques in colouring and stuff...plus i played waaaaay too much Devil May Cry 3, whihc influenced the pic a little bit i think......mew.

now this is an inspirational piece!
the pose suggests the theme of being captive or being held prisoner by something or someone. The colouring on the hair impresses me alot considering I find colouring hair such a chore when it comes to realism, I think you pulled that off well here. I love the background too, it reminds me of looking at an old book, burnt out pages and all. Awesome job all round there, nice pose and fantastic colouring job!

Wow! The coloring detail on this is amazing! I think the steal chain and accessories are what really stands out from this pic because they look so real and touchable! Great texture on the clothing, nice pose and sense of lighting!
But I think you gone so overkill with the typographic background mixed with all those morphing colors. It looks cool, but makes the pic look so busy that it's really distracting from the centrepiece.
But it's still great, and I love the typography you used!
I'm always impressed with work that you put so much time and effort into. It's really amazing and inspiring!
