My image of the moment from this El Goonish Shive strip just before Ellen notices Nanase is there.

This was created through photo-editing the comic above with the image of Ellen from this one. I started by taking the image of Nanase standing in front of the door and expanding it by repeating the wall and deck outwards. Then I took the Ellen image and pasted it in. (Fortunately, no re-sizing was needed) Then bits of the balcony were repeated from panel one of the 9/20 comic. (If you look closely, you'll see the perspective on them changes every so often. Ooops.) Next, drawing Ellen's legs as they weren't present in the original image. Then, the hardest part to do was shifting Nanase's eyeline so she was looking at Ellen. I'm mostly happy with how it turned out, but anything that requires me to actually draw something is pretty much doomed. Then some final cleanups and resizing the whole thing and done!
