Description THIS IS NOW AVAILABLE AS A PRINT AT MY ETSY STORE!
(the print in question is a slightly different version to what you see here.)

I'm being forced to upload this >___>

I am well aware that this isn't my usual standard, but I am still very proud of this. I never use real media anymore, and I've never used watercolours like this before. I've also realised my art lacks the symbolism and conceptualism that inhabits most of my other creative works and so I was happy to express it in this. (Although, admittedly, it's not like this is a very original concept )

SO YEAH. I won't explain the reasoning behind it, I'll leave it up to the individual

I think the print I got at AVcon looks a bit better. or it might be that I'm looking at it through an old crappy display. The text is difrent, did you change anything else for the print?

I'm so happy with the print thanks a lot.

I'm glad you think so! The DA version is obviously smaller as I scanned it myself at home, whilst the print version was scanned professionally and thus larger, incorporating the border. Good pick up on the text! I think the new font works much better. It's probably more the difference in scanner quality that makes it look different: my scan picked up on the violet and aqua hues but the print version made it smoother and brighter.

Thank you again for coming to see me at my table and for the comment and +devwatch! I am thrilled you're enjoying it!

The colours are so amazing and beautiful! I love the hair and the outfit is very pretty. You're sooo good with watercolours!! I don't really think you have to worry about the paper bending too much because you can't notice it unless you are really looking for it, but it still doesn't make this piece any less wonderful!! And blue is my favourite colour!

Oh my GOSH. This is tototally freakin GORGEOUS!!! How could you NOT want to upload this????? Everything about is just so fantastic right down to every last little detail. The flow is just amazing and her pose and her hands and her feet, the dress, the cloth wrapped about her, HER HAIR. And I can't even begin to describe how wonderful the colors came out on this. Wow, you've got to teach me how to achieve colors like that and how you make such complicated looking folds @_@ <3 <3 <3

I...love...this. Seriously, I think this is so beautiful. First the cool and soothing colors which give it a dreamlike quality. The beautiful and graceful form of her body suspended in the air. The sheer flow of all the elements make this such an amazing piece. It's all so perfect. Yep that's it, I'm faving it. And I ought to smack you for not posting it sooner! What other masterpieces are you hiding, eh? Tell Tom thank you and to make you post more!

Very nice pic After you paint you can try to iron it a little bit or put it under very heave dictionary for example. It's best however to paint on a paper specially made for it or at least on paper that don't fold when covered with watercolours^^

Watercolour paper, you can NEVER EVER get to stay fully straight U__U;; Though if you wet and colour a page in its entirety, without leaving uncoloured spaces anywhere, then it'll be flatter...
Also, you can try buying watercolour block things,,, it's sorta like canvas blocks, but for watercolours (quite expensive though =A=;;haha)

Nice dev~ love the flow and effects! 8)

I am so astounded by this piece. It's making me cry. It's BEAUTIFUL. Every thing looks so smooth..and it just flows, as if she's drifting in water..space..

Gorgeous piece of work, just extremely gorgeous. The arms and fingers are my favourite in this piece as well as the outfit.

You deserve so much more recognition than you believe.

I know! She was like "Uhh, mmm, are you sure it's deviation worthy? I dunno." Umm, YES I'd say so. If we could bottle Tahlia's talent we'd be so rich we could fly around in a diamond Learjet fuelled by burning money.

This is so gorgeous! Ah, I love the colour pallette used, they all look so good together. How do your get your watercolours to stay so clean and smooth, it looks amazing!

I'm really loving the way she's outlined in blue, and the way the streaking coming off of her looks. And of course, your folds in the fabric are as amazing as ever *_*

WOW this is very nice so much emotion in it too.
Colors are used so well here love the blue.
OH about the paper problem and the whole water
color my advice you'd have to buy watercolor paper
if not you'll have wavy paper for the rest of your life

watercolor paper does help, but it still is going to bend a little, back in art class, we used to tape the paper down, that way it wouldn't get a chance to bend and you leave it that way until you're done and it's dry, beautiful piece ^_^
