The wave of the grass in the foreground here just intrigues me! I love the play of light and shadow. I'm not sure, though, where your focal point really is, as the trees looked just a bit blurry. I'd also hazard to say that this might be just a tad too saturated, as it seems to be more of a peaceful-oriented shot, and the colors are very bold. A little less might soften it up. As far as composition, it almost seems the focus is divided equally between the wave of the grass and the texture of the foliage behind the trees. I might suggest cropping out generous amounts of either one or the other to bring sharp and deeper focus to just one element of the piece. Overall, great shot, and love your work!

Thank you Holly for the critique which I think is frank and fair. In the original shot the whole scene is in focus thanks to the very small apperture so in that respect there is no real focus to the image. By increasing the stauration and contrast and then softening the whole image I was trying to give it an impressionist feel. Because the image is predominantly green it was always supposed to be a study of light, shade and tone and not a picture of grass and trees, perhaps I didn't soften it enough to achieve the result I was looking for but we live and learn.
